WV Managing Stress and Anxiety Class
Be Anxious for nothing.
Join us for a 5-week class on how to manage stress and anxiety from a Godly perspective. the class will be led by a professional in the field and will include video topics and group discussion.
In this class, participants will learn:
· What is the natural physiological response to danger and how ‘perceived threat’ can trigger these same responses, creating a chronic, hyper-alert state-of-mind that leads to distress and anxiety.
· How our wonderfully designed brains can be ‘re-wired’ to be less anxious, and how some habits can foster a healthy brain.
· How to change certain thinking and behavior patterns that contribute to stress and anxiety.
· How clarity of personal boundaries can help reclaim control of goals and commitments in keeping with one’s spirit rather than external expectations.
· To speak truth with love – asserting one’s needs and boundaries that will contribute to mental, physical, and spiritual health.
